You hear them in your sleep screaming out through the night sky, down the same road where I’ll hit the lights so the stars don’t see
Played in harmony with each days first breaths, so close you listen for the rapture overhead
“This is it”
Like a brace for impact, you wrapped me in your arms
It’s like you eat yourself but you don’t start with your fingers, you start with your face giving you no call for help
And still you hear it
You can hear the horns start to blow
Sing its song until the jaw rips off
Do you sing in fear of goodbye?
Will we smile hand in hand when we float up to paradise?
Do you sing in fear of goodbye?

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
